Victory in the Name

This awareness of God's ever-abiding, indwelling presence will enable you to look boldly at tests and trials and live above them. Knowing God is in you will cause you to laugh in the face of the devil when he tries to bombard your mind with his threats. When the devil speaks his lies to you, you are able to mount up with wings, rising above his onslaughts by turning and holding your thoughts on God. The position of faith is that of gazing steadfastly into the face of Jesus through holding to His Word, ignoring those things that would try to pull your attention away from Him.
